As many may know, dinosaurs existed for about 185 million years, from around 250 million years ago to 65 million years ago. That is a very long time. So, to make it easier, this 185 million year time period was split up into 3 parts called the Triassic, the Jurassic and the Cretaceous periods. Each period was specifically made distinct from the others based on the development and size of the dinosaurs. The earlier dinosaurs were much smaller than in the Cretaceous time period.

This app teaches you all about the dinosaurs that existed in the Cretaceous time period. Many of the dinosaurs that existed at this time are the most widely known species of dinosaur, such as the Tyrannosaurus Rex and the Velociraptor, etc.

Ansel and Clair take the user to the site of a fossil dig, where they can search for and dig up fossils of dinosaurs of this time period. Once a fossil is found, next comes the challenge of putting all the pieces of the fossil together. They must complete this puzzle and use this fossil to help Ansel and Clair travel back in time to the Cretaceous period, where they then can explore and learn about the dinosaurs of this period.

Did you know that "Tyrannosaurus Rex" means "tyrant lizard" Or that this awe-inspiring dinosaur was on average 13 feet tall and 40 feet long and bigger than a school bus. How about the fact that the average Velociraptor was not even as tall as a 5-year-old human. These are just a few of the very interesting facts that a child will learn when using this app.

Not only that, but the app incorporates many interactive tasks for the child to complete and allows them to earn stickers as they learn important facts. The child can take pictures of the different dinosaurs learned about and store these pictures along with their stickers in a journal, which they can go back to at any time while using the app.

Compatible with iPad.
