This has got to be the most fascinating app I have ever reviewed, and the most unique.
The idea behind DIY (Do It Yourself) is that a community of users put together projects, in which they are actually accomplishing things in the real world, and share their project with others. The projects posted get praise and comments. You can follow your favorite DIYers and make friends.
The app also features a ton of project ideas for the user to do his or her self. And I'm not talking a handful of science experiments... I'm talking about how to do cartoon animation all the way through the alphabet to how to live like a yeti.
When you capture your own project to video, you utilize start and stop recording. This is similar to Vine, except there is no time limit. So you can edit and post your project straight to DIY through the app with ease.
This app widens the imagination and tells people, "Get out there!! Learn things! Do things!" Basing it in a social media atmosphere, it helps motivate the current generation to do just that.
Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad.
