Grandma's Kitchen

Age Level: Ages 5-8
By Developer: Fairlady Media

Make a cake with Grandma by adding the ingredients, use prefixes, compound words, put letters into alphabetical order, complete patterns, watch educational videos, count by 10's and a whole lot more. There is even a game to choose healthy foods. Grandma's Kitchen is a fun learning app that kids will enjoy for hours at a time.

The home page allows you to choose to play games, go into settings (where you add the age of the child), and read lots of different fun facts. Did you know that it takes 12 honey bees to make one tablespoon of honey? I sure didn't.

Grandma guides your children throughout the app. Her voice is sweet and encouraging. If the player should choose an incorrect answer, Grandma will gently prompt how to choose correctly. Incorrect answers are simply eliminated. Correct answers get the player a nice acknowledgement, such as, “Oh, you figured it out!”, or “Why, you got it!”

Like with the other Fairlady Media apps, you will find beautiful graphics and fun interactive play. Grandma's Kitchen is a great app for our young learners - well worth the cost!
