Grandpa In Space

Age Level: Ages 5-8
By Developer: Fairlady Media

This app starts out with Grandpa asking you to pick one of the planets in our solar system. Tap on your choice to learn some interesting facts. From here, it's time to build a spaceship for Grandpa, which then launches, taking you on an educational adventure.

Upon your arrival Grandpa plays a professional, short astronomy related video. He then has you push a big, red power button and zoom, at lightning speed, out into the big beyond, where there are games a-plenty to be played! You may do some addition, a matching game, land an alien on the correct shape, etc. There are 10 fun educational games in all.

To wrap it up, Grandpa gives you more interesting facts on your planet of choice. Having been such an attentive and productive student, you are awarded with a souvenir.

The game continues in this wise, with each planet in our Solar System.

The app is very easy to use, has amazing graphics and soundtrack and is a perfect early learning experience. Grandpa in Space was created for children 6-8. Any of the games can be turned off, if you should want to use the app for a younger child – very customizable! Love this app!
