Plum's Photo Hunt is a perfect way to get your kids out in the environment, exploring and thinking about the nature around them.
When you open the app you will be given the choice of three options; Photo Missions, Photobombs and Field Journal.
Photo Missions: Tap on this and you are taken to a page that allows for different missions. There are 15 different categories to choose from such as: Interesting Things, Water, Animal Life, Clouds, Trees and Flowers, Unusual Weather, etc..
Going to any of these options, simply take a photo of something relating to it. Once taken, a photo goes to your in-app library. At this point, you can choose the option to have your photo sent to “Plum” on the Plum Landing website. Choosing this option, you will be taken to a page which asks questions about your photo. For example I chose a photo taken in the category of Water. I was then taken to a page where I was asked, “Where did the water come from?” "Who needs it to survive?”. There is a box where text can be filled in with your answers, as well as a “send” button. What a perfect way to get your child to think about the environment and the cause and affects related to it.
Photobombs: A photo can be taken with a choice of several characters to choose from. Simply go through the different options, choose a character and snap away. The character will be displayed on the picture taken and added to your photo library.
Field Journal: Once a photo has been taken, you have the option of adding it to your own personal journal. Choose a photo and it opens to the category it was taken in. You can then add comments to each picture. Photos can be sent to Plum in this zone as well.
Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
