Roxie's Doors

Age Level: Ages 0–5, Ages 5-8
By Developer: OCG Studios

New and Noteworthy in 94 countries around the world!

This is an app book that combines reading and audio with the old game of "I Spy" mixed in. Every page has a different type of door to open. Open a door and see what you can find. A little story is told at each new door. As the story is told, the words to it appear. Specific words, in red font, are a clue to hidden objects to look for. As you find each of them, the words then turn green. It takes some cleverness to play this game, because some objects are hidden in places like cabinets or bags. Open them with a swipe of the hand, like you'd open a door.

This game is a lot of fun and can help kids learn to read and associate words with objects! It can also teach new words like 'x-ray', 'pliers' or 'wig'. It's a great take on teaching kids how to read and a lot of fun too!

Compatible with iPad.

  • Some of the objects make noises or light up or when you click on them!
  • When you do find something, it sends out a circle of light and there's a bell sound indicating you've found it!
  • Behind different doors are different scenes; for example there's a fire fighting station, a doctor's office, a refrigerator, and the inside of a train.
  • It's all very interactive and the graphics are pleasant and story-like.
  • There is also a 'pull' cord which pulls down to give you all the door options you can go to and you can switch between them whenever you want to.
  • Read out-loud or read yourself options!
