Shapes Touch and Write

Age Level: Ages 0–5
By Developer: Fizzbrain LLC

Pick a textured background and writing medium (such as pudding, whipped cream, etc. - all accompanied by squishy sounds) and let your child loose in practicing handwriting skills. Shapes Touch and Write is fun, entertaining and a great way to keep your child interested in practicing and learning.

The app comes with four different choices: Strokes, Basic Shapes, Advanced Shapes and Objects. In addition, you can create your own practice list for individualized learning.

While playing each game, in-app options are shown right on the screen, allowing you to easily individualize your child's experience. For example, tap on the writing icon to choose your favorite writing medium, the notepad for different wallpaper, cupcake to toggle on/off guided lines – follow the cupcakes, the music note toggles music on/off, etc. You can even choose the direction of stroke, reward time and difficulty level. Everything is right at your fingertips.

If you are looking for an app for early writing skills for your child, this is definitely a great app at a great price! Love it!
