Explore the world of Tick Bait, from the fleas and mites on his belly, all the way down to a quark – which scientists have found to be the smallest particle. Going the other direction, the app takes you out to the observable universe – that's a view where you can see how we fit within 100 billion galaxies. The arrow points to home. The app is beautifully designed with easy to understand information.
Upon opening the app, you have the option of going into divisional increments, or multiple increments based on powers of 10. You can also scroll, using a bar, starting at the smallest (quark) to a view of the observable universe.
Rotate the app sideways and you will receive in-depth information on what you are viewing. There are also questions that can be answered, allowing for additional learning and exploration. In this view, you can multiply and divide by powers of 10, or zoom in and out with a pinch of your fingers.
This app is a perfect way to give children a real insight into the smallest of small, to the biggest of big and just how we all fit into the picture of things. Love it!
