Youth for Human Rights Online Education

Age Level: Ages 8-12, Ages: 12 +

Youth for Human Rights is an international movement, which is dedicated to educating children on the United Nation's Declaration of Human Rights, and promoting human rights as a mainstream idea.

This app is a fully designed curriculum, complete with lesson plans, which include some very amazing videos. The videos, by themselves, fully teach what our human rights are, which are guaranteed by the United Nations. The lessons are very in-depth and complete with essays and class discussions about each specific right – thirty in all!

This application provides teachers with a fully interactive on-line class room which students can sign into for their notifications and homework assignments. Individuals may also just do the curriculum on their own without working with a teacher.

I can tell you right now, I had no idea of what most of our Human Rights are. This little app really opened my eyes!
