Zoe makes a splash is an app designed to educate children regarding the importance of water, benefits of clean water, using it conservatively and how polluted water affects nature.
The app is created in an interactive storybook fashion. Lord Fredrick (Fred) a very informed frog living in the Wetlands, shows Zoe and Pedro how his environment has been turned into a dirty marsh due to the carelessness of people. The children help to clean up Fred's home and then are taken on an adventure where Fred teaches them some very important water conservation points, how water becomes polluted, natures water cycle, and even takes them to a water treatment plant. The app is lightly interactive, originally developed in 2011, but it is free and definitely a good learning tool.
Whether you are living in Europe, the US or Asia, this app has some great points that can go a long way in teaching children to make environmentally friendly decisions.
Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
